MATERIAL
Using the off-cuts of Marwood fabrics, Marwood founder Becky French began to create a series of textile works exploring technique and colour combinations. A meditative process, the explorations became larger scale wall art and quilts.
Sold here are a series of pieces that are each unique. Celebrating colour and texture, these pieces aim to preserve the fabrics that are woven with such skill by our English mill. Staying true to our mantra of making products to love and treasure and last the test of time.

FRAMING
We recommend framing this artwork with a box frame where the glass does not touch the textile. This will keep the texture and relief of the fabric and stitches without squashing it flat. Another factor is using 'art glass' which we highly recommend. Although it is a lot more expensive than normal glass, it does not reflect as much and therefore protects the textile for longer.
