In 2009 Marwood began life in the form of a blog. It was an online sketchbook that recorded research, inspiration and style that epitomised the Marwood aesthetic. Designer, Becky French, started this blog on the recommendation of a friend who worked for the Future Laboratory at the time, and pointed out the relevance of recording the process online. A meeting of minds around a kitchen table in East London helped to solidify the idea and with a post-it note on a wall, the brain storm began.
